Not even a sliver to be seen
there's nothing left to light the sky
the moon is still there
but you can just not
see it with your eyes

You scribbled it down on some pages
with the heading for south of the equator
your writing is so messy I hardly understand
it's lucky you drew some amazing diagrams

And I don't even know if what you wrote down was right
I guess that depends on how much you had to drink that night
but one things for sure I predict to be true
that every time that I look at the moon it will remind me of you.
